Critter Songs |

So far there are ten of these children's songs about animals, written for harp and voice.
They can be found on Phala's first CD, to be released this summer! Tracks include: Three-toed Tree Toad,
Ramona, Frig Frog Fairy Dog Wog, My Cat Sam, Alligator, Raganasty,
Iguana, Gremlin Was a Goldfish, The Centipede Song and I Made Friends with a Fruitbat.

A collection of seven nonsensical songs for harp and voice, each from a different
"Elsewhere."
They consist of Slifty Tuth, Fergahn te Laskelaidy, Fendata!, Quendana, Hoofta Gehnen, Pflanzy Linzy,
and Hotza Katakanai.

So, I guess technically that would make them poetry? More or less, yes, but they are rhythmic
poems intended to be performed out loud. Some of them are more sensical than others. Titles include:
Roll Down the Hill, Nineteen Ten, Pollywog, Pomegranate, Snivvel at the Underdones, and Old Mrs.

Ragtime for solo harp! Phala wrote Robin Chat Rag her freshman year at Oberlin
and Platypus Rag her final year at CalArts.
